The San Jose Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident on Sunday morning.
The officials stated that the crash happened at around 12:40 a.m. at Senter and Story Roads.
The officials reported that a man riding his bicycle was struck by two vehicles.
The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene after failing to stop and render aid.
The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The identity of the deceased victim is yet to be determined.
The police stated that this incident marks the 54th traffic-related fatality in the city.
More information regarding the fatal crash will be released after the investigation is concluded.
