A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing in a crosswalk on the west side of Albuquerque near Coors and Sage, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene after the pedestrian was hit. The pedestrian did not survive the crash, authorities confirmed.
