Authorities identified Jomar Williams who died in hospital following a crash west of Greenville (Grand Rapids, MI)

Authorities identified Jomar Williams as the second victim who lost his life following a two-vehicle crash west of Greenville last week.

As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place Oct. 17 on M-57/14 Mile Road, close to Wabasis Avenue in Oakfield Township in northeastern Kent County. State police identified the victim as Jomar Williams. The investigation reports showed that a westbound Jeep Liberty drove over the centerline and collided with a Nissan Altima head-on.

The driver of the Nissan, Williams, was flown to the hospital. MSP confirmed that he had been removed from life support on Friday. The passenger in the Nissan, described as a 17-year-old female, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. On the other hand, the driver of the Jeep, also 17, was also rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. As of Wednesday, that person’s condition was unknown.

An investigation is ongoing.
