Authorities identified 74-year-old Toby David Garonzik who died after a crash in Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX)

Authorities identified 74-year-old Toby David Garonzik as the elderly man who died Tuesday night after his vehicle crashed into a tree.

As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place at about 6:45 p.m. in the 14200 block of Anderson Mill Road, close to the intersection with Twin Creeks Club Drive. The Cedar Park Police Department said in a statement that their officers, firefighters, and EMS medics responded to crash scene on reports of a crash.

On arrival, responders learnt that a vehicle had struck a tree. The driver, identified as 74-year-old Toby David Garonzik, was declared dead at the scene by the officials. No other details are available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
