Authorities identified 62-year-old Ulrick Fisher who died after a crash in Pinal County (Pinal County, AZ)

62-year-old Ulrick Fisher, whose car was stalled, lost his life in San Tan valley as he ran into traffic and was struck by multiple vehicles.

The driver has been identified as 62-year-old Ulrick Fisher. Pinal County Sheriff Office officials stated that the fatal incident occurred on Saturday night at about 9:30 p.m. Fisher’s car broke down, just north of the Arizona Speedway.

At that point of time, another driver, going in the other direction, saw the stranded driver on the other side of the road and stopped to offer help. As the stranded driver ran across the road towards the Good Samaritan, officials stated that a minivan struck him.

After the initial crash, officials added that several other vehicles also hit Fisher. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the minivan was transported to the hospital as a precaution. Officials also mentioned that many vehicles stayed at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
