Authorities identified 54-year-old Michael Graves who died in a UTV crash in Acton (Acton, CA)

Authorities released the name of 54-year-old Michael Graves, a resident of Acton, who was killed following a UTV accident on August 25.

The incident took place at around 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday. Reports revealed that Graves’s 2006 Yamaha Rhino, a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) ran off the roadway, close to the intersection of Aliso Canyon Road, just north of Avenue Y-8 in Acton. Graves allowed the vehicle to swerve off the roadway on the right and onto the west shoulder of Aliso Canyon Road.

The vehicle went out of control until it veered off the east road edge and then rolled down an embankment. The impact ejected Graves from the UTV and he died of his injuries at the scene. Alcohol and drugs are believed to be involved in the collision.
