Authorities identified 48-year-old William Elftman Jr. who died after a single-vehicle crash in La Verne (La Verne, CA)

On Wednesday, authorities identified 48-year-old William Elftman Jr. as the man who lost his life following a traffic accident Tuesday in La Verne.

The authorities actively responded to the 4300 block of St. Mark Avenue, near Baseline Road at around 9:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash. The preliminary reports showed that a car jumped a curb, crashed through a wall and ended up in the backyard of a home.

The man, identified as William Elftman Jr., from La Verne was declared dead at the scene. The incident did not reportedly cause any other injuries. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
