Officials identified 36-year-old Janette Gaither, a resident of Fort Worth, who was killed following a three-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on southbound Interstate 35.
According to the investigation reports, the fatal incident took place on the highway between Hesters Crossing and State Highway 45 in which an 18-wheeler was involved. Authorities reported that two other people suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
The officials closed down the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 for a few hours as crews worked at the scene. The events that have led up to the wreck remain unknown at this time
The crash is under active investigation.
