Authorities identified 35-year-old Travis Lewis who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Everett (Everett, WA)

On Thursday, authorities released the name of 35-year-old Travis Lewis, a resident of Camano Island, who lost his life few days after a motorcycle crash on Aug. 12 in Everett.

Travis Lewis was identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. As per the reports, Lewis was heading west on U.S. 2 at about 12:30 a.m. He was merging onto northbound I-5 when he lost control and crashed his bike into the guardrail on the right side.

The force of the collision threw Lewis from his Harley Davidson motorcycle, which ended up in the right shoulder. He had been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Emergency personnel stated that Lewis died of blunt force injuries.

The incident remains under active review.
