Authorities identified 32-year-old Darlan Manrique Pena Rodriguez who died after a crash in NE Austin (Austin, TX)

Authorities identified 32-year-old Darlan Manrique Pena Rodriguez as the man who lost his life following a crash last weekend in Northeast Austin.

As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place Saturday, Jan. 15, at about 1 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Hwy 183 near the ramp to Hwy 290. The preliminary reports showed that 32-year-old Darlan Manrique Pena Rodriguez was heading eastbound when his vehicle hit the traffic divider between the highway and the ramp.

He was declared dead at the scene by the officials. His city of residence remains unknown at this time. No other details are available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
