Authorities identified 28-year-old Quiana Roberson who was injured after a crash in Gallatin Pike (Nashville, TN)

Metro Police Department officials released the name of 28-year-old Quiana Roberson who suffered injuries while a 44-year-old Nashville resident died following a two-vehicle accident in Gallatin Pike.

As per the initial information, the woman was driving the Nissan Altima south on North Gallatin Pike when her car crossed the center left-turn lane for reasons that are yet to be known. The vehicle then entered the northbound lanes of travel and crashed into a Chrysler 300.

On arrival, medics rushed the female driver to Skyline Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Chrysler 300, Quiana Roberson, of Clarksville, suffered major injuries but is expected to be fine. Officers will release the name of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.

An investigation into the crash is continuing.
