Authorities identified 28-year-old Cathrine Khan who died after being ejected from a vehicle (Atlanta, GA)

Authorities identified 28-year-old Cathrine Khan as the woman who lost her life after being ejected from a vehicle in Buckhead.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the intersection of Piedmont and Peachtree Road. On arrival, responding officials found the woman unresponsive in the roadway. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

The preliminary investigation suggested that the woman might have been pushed or might have fallen from the moving vehicle. The reports further showed that the driver left the scene. The Fulton County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 28-year-old Cathrine Khan. Her city of residence is not known at this time.

The incident remains under active review.
