On Monday, authorities identified 26-year-old Luke McCullough, of Hurst, as the man who lost his life after a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Texas 360 in Arlington.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident was reported just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of Texas 360, close to Abram Street in Arlington. The investigation reports showed that the motorcycle rear-ended the SUV, which had stopped in the center lane of the highway due to heavy traffic on Texas 360.
The SUV driver remained unharmed in the accident. Arlington police said that no criminal charges are expected to be issued. The reports also revealed that the motorcycle was ejected from his bike and onto the highway due to the impact.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses informed Arlington police that the motorcyclist was going at a high rate of speed and changing lanes aggressively prior to the wreck.
An investigation continues.
