At least one person killed after a fiery collision in north Harris County (Houston, TX)

At least one person was killed after a pickup crashed into the back of a dump truck Friday morning in north Harris County.

As per the initial information, the fatal fiery collision took place at around 7 a.m. in the 14100 block of Chrisman Road near Aldine Bender. The early reports showed that the pickup slammed into the dump truck after which it rolled over and exploded into flames.

Authorities confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if there were any other passengers in the vehicle. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further details are available.

The wreck remains under investigation.
