On Tuesday night Hayley Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash between Abilene and Hawley.
A driver and passenger were injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown. At least one person was taken to the hospital.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and EMS assisted at the crash scene.
According to the authorities, an SUV and a pickup truck were involved in the crash and got heavily damaged.
Traffic was diverted to the frontage roads off US 277 North.
Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
