A multi-vehicle pile-up caused injuries to at least one person on SSW Loop 323.
As per the initial information, the incident took place at 2210 SSW Loop 323 in Tyler just after 8 p.m. Tyler police, fire and EMS all arrived at the scene on reports of a wreck. On October 14 at about 8 p.m., Tyler Police actively responded to the 2200 block of WSW Loop 323 after getting reports of a multi-vehicle accident.
The early reports showed that at least one, if not multiple occupants, sustained injuries. The reports further revealed that at least 3 cars were involved in the wreck. All east and westbound lanes in the 2200 block of WSW Loop 323 have been closed down following the crash. Tyler Police are redirecting traffic at Old Jacksonville Hwy and Hwy 155 S. Authorities urged the motorists to avoid the area.
The wreck remains under investigation.
