The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle accident in Albuquerque on Thursday. The accident occurred on the frontage road off I-40, between mile marker ten and 11, west of Albuquerque.
According to the officials, several vehicles were involved in the collision. The number of vehicles involved has not been disclosed. The events leading up to the crash are not clear at this time.
A patient involved in the incident was critically injured and was swiftly transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead. The authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the deceased.
As the investigation continues, more information is expected to emerge. The accident is still being investigated.
