According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle crash was reported on Sunday, in Lebec. Authorities stated that at least one person died and one suffered major injuries due to the fatal accident.
The authorities confirmed that the crash occurred along the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, near the Lebec Service Road exit.
The motorcycle collided into the back of the semi-truck and resulted in the crash.
The injured motorcyclists were immediately transported to receive medical treatment.
Other details including the identity of the victims have not yet been released. The crash is currently under investigation by the CHP.
