According to the El Paso Police Department, a multi-vehicle accident was reported on Wednesday morning.
The officials stated that three vehicles including a semi-truck were involved in a crash on Interstate 10.
The El Paso Fire reported that at least one person was rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The identity of the victims involved in the crash was not revealed by the Police.
El Paso Police shut all the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 and diverted the traffic to Schuster’s exit for further investigation.
Police are yet to confirm whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving were factors involved in the crash.
No additional information was provided by the officials.
