Arnoldo Esquivel De la Rosa lost his life and Raul Villanueva received serious injuries after a wrong-way crash on I-20.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place on I-20, approximately 15 miles east of Monahans. The preliminary reports showed that Raul Villanueva, of Monahans, was traveling the wrong way in the westbound lane of I-20 when his vehicle crashed into another vehicle.
Arnoldo Esquivel De la Rosa, of Denton, was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Villanueva was rushed to Medical Center hospital where he is listed in serious condition. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
