An older male who was riding his Mtn. bike in the hills behind Jamul Elementary School experienced a medical condition and crashed.
The early reports indicated that he was able to call his wife, who in turn, called their son. The son arrived at the trails, located his father and called 911 for help. The son led the firefighters to his father and they used a “Stoke’s Basket with wheel to bring the male down the hill where an ambulance was waiting.
The victim was then taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital. There is no information available regarding the condition of the victim. His son recovered his bike. No other details are made available.
The incident remains under investigation.
