An auto-pedestrian crash critically injured a 70-year-old man in downtown Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

A 70-year-old man was hospitalized with critical injuries after being hit by a shuttle bus in downtown Las Vegas on Tuesday night.

As per the initial information, the incident was reported at about 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of 1st Street and Ogden Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that a white Ford F550 shuttle bus was traveling north on 1st Street and started to make a left turn on Ogden when it struck a 70-year-old man who was walking in the crosswalk on Ogden.

On arrival, paramedics rushed the pedestrian to UMC in critical condition. On the other hand, the driver of the bus remained at the scene after the collision and did not display any signs of impairment. No other details are available.

The crash remains under review.
