A 45-year-old Altenburg man suffered moderate injuries Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Route C north of Shawneetown in Cape Girardeau County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Route C, about three miles north of Shawneetown, the patrol's online crash report states. The driver was operating a 2023 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound when the vehicle was involved in the crash, according to the report.
