On early Monday morning, a man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Avenue J.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 12:23 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue J and Rodin Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that an eastbound Nissan hit an adult male pedestrian who was walking eastbound on Avenue J.
The man suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation is continuing.
