A vehicle struck and killed a 60-year-old male pedestrian on North Arrowhead Avenue (San Bernardino, CA)

On Wednesday night, a vehicle hit and killed a 60-year-old male pedestrian on North Arrowhead Avenue.

As per the San Bernardino Police Department, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident took place at about 8:39 p.m. in the 300 block of North Arrowhead Avenue. Reports showed that a vehicle struck a 60-year-old male adult that was attempting to cross North Arrowhead Avenue.

On arrival, first responders declared the pedestrian deceased. It still remains unknown if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or not at the time of crash. Officials will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
