A vehicle struck and injured a pedestrian at a west Las Vegas valley intersection (Las Vegas, NV)

On Thursday morning, a pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle at a west Las Vegas valley intersection.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian accident took place at about 3:34 a.m. at Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard. On arrival, emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital with non-critical injuries.

Authorities shut down the Westbound Flamingo as crews worked at the crash site but the road was back open by around 6 a.m. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
