A vehicle smashes into a home in Spanish Springs; driver hospitalized (Spanish Springs, NV)

One person was hurt after their vehicle crashed into a house in Spanish Springs.

Nevada State Police, Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Truckee Meadows Fire Department all responded to the crash scene. The single-vehicle accident took place a little after 9 p.m. in the 2300 block of Soar Drive.

The early reports showed that a female driver ran through a gate on one property before crashing into a different residence. On arrival, emergency personnel transported the driver to a hospital as a precaution. No one in the home suffered any injuries as a result of the collision. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
