A vehicle smashed into a home in Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI)

On Wednesday afternoon, a vehicle slammed into a home in Sterling Heights.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place in the 4900 block of eastbound 15 Mile, between Taylor Dr. and Koch Ave. just before 3:30 p.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle plowed into a home for reasons that are yet to be known.

Emergency vehicles responded to the scene, but fire crews left the scene as of 4:30 p.m. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the collision. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
