A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian on Highway 99 (Turlock, CA)

On Sunday, a pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on Highway 99.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at around 1:40 p.m. at the West Taylor Road off-ramp. The preliminary investigation revealed that a white Cadillac Sedan hit the pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, officers found the person lying on the roadside. The victim was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The vehicle pulled over in the center divider after hitting the pedestrian. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
