On Saturday night, one person was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on Highway 180.
As per the in initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on Highway 180 and N Cedar Avenue. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit one person for reasons that are yet to be known.
The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. Traffic on the westbound lane of the highway was impacted due to the collision. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. No other details are made available.
The incident remains under investigation.
