On Monday night, a man lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle in Pomona.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 8:00 p.m. on White Avenue and Texas Street. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.
The male pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers. No further details were provided by the authorities.
