A vehicle hit and injured a female pedestrian in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

On early Monday morning, a woman sustained injuries after getting hit by a vehicle in Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 1:00 a.m. near 41st Avenue and Thomas Road. On arrival, responding officers found a woman who had been struck by a vehicle, down on the road.

Emergency personnel rushed her to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene after the collision. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No further details were provided.

The incident remains under active review.
