On Wednesday morning, a person suffered serious injuries following a vehicle collision on Buena Vista Hills in Taft.
As per the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place in the Buena Vista Hills, northwest of Taft at about 6:36 a.m. Firefighters immediately responded to the scene and freed one person pinned inside a vehicle. According to the authorities, at least one person received serious injuries in the traffic crash.
The cause and circumstances that led to the crash is unknown at this time. As of now, authorities have not provided any other information regarding the accident and the identity of the injured person remains undisclosed at this time.
An investigation is underway.
