A two-vehicle crash killed a 45-year-old Wyoming man on U.S. 131 in Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI)

On Saturday morning, a 45-year-old Wyoming man lost his life after crashing his vehicle into a parked vehicle in Grand Rapids.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of southbound U.S.-131 near 32nd Street in Grand Rapids at around 1 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Wyoming man was heading south on U.S. 131 when it slammed into an unoccupied vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway.

Reports further added that the vehicle flipped multiple times, ejecting the man from his vehicle. The man suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
