On Tuesday morning, a two-vehicle accident on La Cholla Boulevard caused serious injuries to a person.
As per the preliminary investigation, the accident happened on La Cholla Boulevard at Hospital Driver, close to south of Orange Grove Road. The crash led to the closure of the intersection of La Cholla Boulevard, except a southbound lane that remained opened.
The department of Pima County Sheriff is investigating the accident. Dep. James Allerton said that one person received serious injuries following the crash and was rushed to a hospital by the emergency crews. No additional information has been revealed by the authorities.
