A two-vehicle collision killed 2 women in Crosby (Crosby, TX)

On Saturday, two women lost their lives following a two-vehicle accident in the Crosby area.

As per the initial information, the driver was backing out of a residential driveway at around 11:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of FM 1942. Just then, an approaching white pickup truck crashed into the driver’s side of the vehicle, sending the car into a roadside ditch.

The force of the collision ejected the passenger from the vehicle and she was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver, who was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, also succumbed to her injuries at the crash scene. The pickup truck driver was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, where a DWI investigation is taking place.  No charges have been filed as of this moment.

An investigation is ongoing.
