On Friday night, one person was killed following a traffic collision in Memphis.
As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of Interstate 140 and Warford at about 9:35 p.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. On arrival, medical personnel rushed one person to Regional One Hospital where they were later declared dead.
The events that have led up to the deadly accident remain unclear at this time. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No additional information has been provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
