A two-vehicle accident killed 3 people on Fort Argyle Road (Savannah, GA)

On Wednesday, three people lost their lives following a two-vehicle collision on Fort Argyle Road.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at Fort Argyle Road and Old River Road after 5 p.m. in which an 18-wheeler and a minivan were involved. The preliminary investigation revealed that the van was attempting to turn left onto Fort Argyle Road, when it got struck. Three people were killed while a fourth person was undergoing a surgery and is listed in very critical condition.

According to the officials, the 27-year-old driver of the minivan, a passenger in their early 20s and a passenger in their early 40s died as a result of the wreck. The passenger who is in critical condition is a teenager. A fifth passenger suffered non-fatal injuries. Reportedly, the five people in the minivan were construction workers. No additional information is available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
