A two-vehicle accident injured 2 people on State Route 202 (Sammamish, WA)

On Saturday afternoon, two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision on State Route 202.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 4:30 p.m. near 228th Avenue Northeast and Louisa May Alcott Elementary School. On arrival, emergency crews transported two people to the hospital. One of them suffered non-critical injuries.

The driver who caused the collision was investigated for vehicular assault. The roadway was shut down from both directions, but State Route 202, just north of Sammamish, was back open to traffic shortly after. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
