A train hit and killed a man in Pasco (Pasco, WA)

On Sunday morning, a man lost his life after being struck by a train in Pasco.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of S. 4th Avenue and W. Ainsworth Street at about 10:30 after getting reports of a pedestrian crash. The early reports showed that a train hit one person.

On arrival, responding officers found the body of the man under the train. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
