A traffic accident injured 6 people in southeast Travis County (Travis County, TX)

On Saturday night, six people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in southeast Travis County.

Officers actively responded to the 4400 block of SH 71 in southeast Travis County near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at around 11:36 p.m. after getting reports of a crash. On arrival, officials found two people trapped inside their vehicle.

STAR Flight was requested at the scene and one person was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Three people sustained serious injuries while the other two victims incurred minor injuries. All six victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. No other details are immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
