A single-vehicle crash injured 1 person on I-75 South in Knox County (Knoxville, TN)

On Thursday morning, one person suffered injuries following a single-vehicle accident on I-75 South in Knox County.

As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of I-75 South, close to the Raccoon Valley Exit after getting reports of a crash. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle slammed into the center barrier as a result of which it rolled and went off the road.

On arrival, rescuers had to free one person from the totaled vehicle and then took the injured victim to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. No other details are immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
