A single-vehicle accident injured a 75-year-old woman near Holland (Park Township, MI)

A 75-year-old woman suffered injuries following a traffic collision Thursday near Holland.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 5:30 p.m. on Quincy Street near 152nd Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 75-year-old woman from Holland was traveling westbound on Quincy Street when she struck slush in the road and failed to maintain control of the vehicle.

Due to the impact, her vehicle drifted off the road, struck a tree and flipped. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the woman to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. No other details have been released by the officials.

An investigation is ongoing.
