On early Friday morning, an overturned semi-truck spilled milk and fuel in Sherman Oaks.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place a little after 2:50 a.m. on the westbound 101 freeway at Van Nuys Boulevard. The early reports showed that a big rig and a car were involved in the collision. The truck rolled over, spilling a small amount of milk and diesel fuel.
At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the accident. A Sig Alert was announced and multiple westbound lanes of the 101 freeway were closed as crews worked to clear the scene and remained blocked as of 6:30 a.m. The events that have led up to the crash also remain unclear. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
The incident remains under investigation.
