An accident involving a semi-truck left 70k pounds of grapes and diesel spilled across the Highway 101.
As per the initial information, commuters coming into San Francisco from the South Bay had to face an unexpected back-up Wednesday morning due to thousands of grapes. The early reports showed that the traffic is slow near Gilroy in Santa Clara County after the incident that left 70,000 pounds of grapes and diesel spread across Highway 101 northbound before Highway 25.

The Caltrans cleanup crew stopped work for a few hours, but will start again at 11 a.m., blocking the right lane of the freeway for around two hours. Later, lanes were back open again, but the traffic was slow in the area. The driver of the truck received injuries in the accident which took place just after 4 a.m.
