A semi-truck crash at NB 215 and Jones Boulevard led to fuel spill (Las Vegas, NV)

On Friday morning, a semi-truck struck a center median in the area of northbound 215 and Jones Boulevard that caused a fuel leak.

As per the initial information, the wreck took place at around 8:34 a.m. The preliminary investigation showed that the semi-truck came to a stop in the second lane, but the first travel lanes are remained open.

Officials mentioned that the #2 travel lane will be shut down for some time as hazmat cleans up the fuel in the area. According to the authorities, traffic was moving slowly in the affected area and drivers were asked to avoid the area. It is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
