There were reports of a rollover crash Saturday night involving an 18-wheeler on I-10 in Houston. A portion of Interstate 10 in Houston near Interstate 45 was also closed down due to the wreck.
As per the initial information, the big rig flipped over at about 6 p.m. and lost its load on the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway. It is unknown if the crash caused any injuries. Transit officials stated around 8:30 p.m. they estimated it would take up to 4 hours for the crews to clear the scene. It was not clear what led up to the collision. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
