One person received injuries following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on Sherman Way.
As per the initial information, the bicycle accident took place on Sherman Way near Ethel Avenue at about 4:49 a.m. The early reports showed that a dark-colored pickup truck hit a westbound bicyclist for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the victim to Holy Cross Medical Center with critical injuries. On the other hand, the pickup driver stayed at the scene after the crash. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are available.
