One person was killed after a wreck Thursday in Riverside.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle accident took place on 215 Freeway. Authorities actively responded to the northbound freeway, north of Columbia Avenue at around 5 a.m. in response to a crash. The early reports showed that one person died as a result of the accident.
It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries. It is also not known how many vehicles in total were involved in the collision. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
The wreck remains under investigation.
