One person was killed following a multi-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Peoria.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle accident took place on Castle Hot Springs Road and SR-74. Authorities confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries.
SR-74 was shut down in both directions in the area of milepost 19 for an unspecified amount of time. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
The wreck remains under review.
